I did apply a light coating of Gibbs brand lubricant corrosion inhibitor/lubricant to the blade. 26 8 Point Standard Crosscut Hand Saw With Black Plastic Handle, model Number 9-3527, In my opinion this saw appears that it was barely used because the original Sears price tag is still on handle. I didn't try removing the corrosion. This saw does have surface corrosion on the blade caused by way it was stored previous owner.
